Breakdown:
Middle aged wealthy couple are kidnapped by an unknown group to an unknown location and Elizabeth finds herself locked in a room where she is intimidated by her captors in a psychological, physical, and emotional assault. During her captivity she is forced to endure a brutal "kangaroo" trial by her captives revealing dark secrets about her life, her husband, that crushes reality and security for the rest of her life .... If the verdict sets her free.

Auditions:
will be all held by appointment only after a Facetime or Phone Conversation to ask questions of each other to see if my project is a fit for us both in the area of specific audition information, roles, requirements and contract agreement. You will be traveling to Phillipsburg N.J. and the audition will be held in my home alongside my lead Actress Kate Skarvinko who will be reciting (Performing) the sides with you. I will not be holding a cattle call for this film. Audition: By appointment only.
Contract:
Will be required if you are selected for the role. You will then be required to do at least one reading, possibly up to 3 rehearsals for different scenes, possibly a wardrobe fitting, a photo shoot for the new poster asap, possibly a Film Combat training session, and most important coaching sessions if required. Pay for supporting actors will be between $400 - $500.
Although not required, I would think you would come to the Cast and Crew Screening Party and of course the "Film Festival (s)".
Submission
All actors selected will be required to sign contract and production is projected to be for 2 days possibly 3 in the last week of Sept. or Oct. but if the momentum of the energy continues then we may reschedule earlier. All actors must have flexibility in there schedule of at least one week notice for this change. All actors must attend required attendance for all scheduled requirements, rehearsals, coaching etc.

Project/Director Statement
I wish to make a statement concerning the process and elements of this casting and project.
I am hoping to retrieve not just actors for this film but persona's who can identify the things that are real and unreal in the production of my film. All candidates who enter my audition process are unknown variables just like I am to you. I have to trust if you travel the distance to explore the possibilities of this production you are of serious intentions and your have the skin to move one step at a time at making this production be the best it can. After reading the script what kind of passion do you have? I too have performed in films, as all of you have with the intent to understand all the elements you are going through. I'm not oblivious. I will never make an actor do what he or she does not want to do and I would expect complete honesty even if I have to decide you are not the right fit.
I am not a perfectionist. I'm a risk taker. My goal is to make you a better actor not a perfect one. Once you sign contract I have to be sure you understand the discipline and mechanics of production. In the early films I did not master all the various production elements of crew but I did learn enough to know that YES I could perform all the functions and duties of the main crew for production, not on a professional level but an intermediate one. I learned what an entry level actor had to go through to get on the ladder, then I made films learning all the elements of an Actor, (first) DP, AD, Boom operator, Producer, etc .... and yes I was even my own Executive Producer. It is not a pretty picture with all the glitches, attitudes, lies, bloopers, errors, mistakes, weak script parts, missing parts, costs out of my pocket, more lies, and it goes on. I didn't die.
"The Tried", intense, dark, raw, a film about human, child trafficking, money, relationships, the fall of a woman's wealth and power descending into the raw realization of ones own basic nature ... truth. Not an easy task. A fall from illusion into the truth of social vomit. All the elements are intense and wipe the slate clean from all actors who think they are going to act fluff. You will perform the character with the only resource inside you. Acting is for students. Coaching is for creating the performance that is outside your comfort zone, which has to be a new reality. My name is Richard N. Wilson. My time is short and limited. This will be my last "feature" project even though I have other scripts collecting dust. Who knows ... maybe time will be kind but I know I can never take that for granted. Welcome to my world ... there will be no one to rescue you. Only you can rescue you.
